Richard LaBelle, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. LaBelle is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of extractive industry experience in operations, services and consumables and has delivered globally over $6 Billion (CAD) in sales. Previously, Mr. LaBelle was Chief Executive Officer of Norcast, where he was involved in the purchase and subsequent integration of Swanmet Malaysia, Singapore and Australia, creating Norcast Wear Solutions - a global leader in mining related wear parts. Mr. LaBelle is no stranger to Dumas, having acted as Chief Operating Officer from 2008-2010 where he was instrumental in supporting a period of significant growth and repositioning for the company as a first choice for complex underground mine construction and operation. Prior to this, Mr. LaBelle was Group General Manager of Boart Longyear’s Canadian and International business units, where he was responsible for the management of operations, including the acquisition and integration of several companies in Canada, Brazil, Central America, Russia and Africa. His past roles also include General Manager and Director of Orica’s Canadian operations, where he was responsible for restructuring the business and managing a period of rapid growth for the company and consolidation within the industry. Mr. LaBelle graduated as a Mining Engineering Technologist from Cambrian College and has a Master of Business Administration from Queen’s University.


Michael Psihogios, Chief Financial Officer

Michael Psihogios is responsible for the Finance, Human Resources and Information Technology functions for Dumas’ global offices and operations. He has more than 10 years of strategic and analytical financial leadership experience working in private equity, investment banking, mining companies and niche product/service businesses serving the natural resource industry. Mr. Psihogios has broad experience in all areas of corporate finance including mergers and acquisitions, joint-ventures, partnerships, alliances, capital structuring, contract appraisal and project evaluation. He attended business school at the University of Toronto (Canada) and St. Gallen (Switzerland), while completing his undergraduate program at the University of Wilfrid Laurier in Waterloo, Canada.


Wayne Mohns, P.Eng., Vice President, Canada 

Wayne Mohns oversees all elements of Dumas’ operations across Ontario and Western Canada. A professional engineer with more than 25 years of experience in mine contracting, operations and mine management, Mr. Mohns held several senior management positions with the Redpath Group, Xstrata Nickel, Homestake, Barrick and Teck prior to joining Dumas. He has varied operational and management experience in contracting, mine operation, process improvement, strategic planning and team building. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from Queen’s University, as well as a Civil Technology Qualification from Ryerson University and a Professional Engineering License in Ontario.
