Montana Exploradora Guatemala S. A. (Goldcorp)

Commodity: Gold (Au)

Marlin mine is in the western highlands of Guatemala, 25 kilometres west-southwest of the town of Huehuetenango. Dumas has contracts for both development and raising projects at this site.

The development project for some 6,900 meters of ramps and horizontal development was awarded November 2, 2010, at which time Dumas started mobilizing equipment from our shop in Timmins to the project site. Actual mining work on site started on February 15, 2011 and to date over 700 meters of 5M x 5M development work has been completed without a safety incident.

The contract for the raise project work was awarded in April 2011 and raise climber equipment is currently arriving on site. A total of 880 meters of 3.1 meter diameter raise will be excavated. The first two 238 meter raises are being driven concurrently, underground to surface, with difficult ground conditions expected approximately 50 meters below the surface breakthrough.

The second pair of 148 meter raises will also be driven concurrently, between levels underground.
