Construction Miner
Provide support to the mine department for underground set ups, installation and maintenance of all mine services in conjunction with production and development requirements.
Responsibilities
- Installation of pipe and inserts in pastefill system.
- Maintenance/cleaning of pastefill leaks and air and water leaks throughout the mine.
- Construct paste fill walls.
- Infrastructure installation, construction of chutes, vent doors, charging stations, sumps, etc.
- Cement formwork and pouring for underground installations.
- Installation and set up of sump systems.
- Monitoring and mucking out of slimes to prevent pump failures.
- Dumping sump material into open stopes.
- Monitoring and maintaining all pipe lines.
- Installation/maintenance of ventilation lines, fans, bulkheads, etc.
- Supply and delivery of required material to underground of dayshift.
- Hauling tires, scoop buckets down to shop and up to surface.
- Supply/maintain fuel, oil, grease, etc. to fuel bays.
- Set up and installation of new fuel bays.
- Installation and maintenance of all underground pumps and pumping systems.
- Installation and of shotcrete walls.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
