Jumbo Operator
To complete a cycle each shift which includes drilling a round with a jumbo drill and blasting.
Responsibilities
- Clean and mark up rock face.
- Drill into the rock face using a jumbo drill and/or jackleg.
- Load drill holes with ammex or gel and blast rock.
- Bolt and insert rebar and screen into rock.
- Scale blasted area and work area.
- Wash rock face and muckpile.
- Install services, vent pipe, air pipe and water pipe.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
