Shaft Miner
Responsibilities
- Check and inspection scaling of work area.
- Check inspect and maintain equipment
- Maintenance and repair of the shaft and all of its components.
- Work pro actively by proposing improvements to the tasks entrusted proactively, in order to optimize safety, and quality of the effectiveness of operations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Apply all standards and regulations as per code.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on conveyance.
- Transport material, equipment, personnel.
- Position and secure Galloway.
- Operate lifting mechanism.
- Place and fill concrete forms.
- Install timber and steel sets.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
