Kristian Salvador Echavarria,

Mr. Echavarria joined Dumas in 2022 as Vice President of Operations and brings a diverse portfolio of technical, operational, and leadership experience that encompasses various operational trades, technical disciplines, business management, and leadership within the mining and natural resource industries.

As a globally experienced mining executive with over 14 years within the industry, Mr. Echavarria has specialized in underground mining and has held various roles in Mine Operations, Mine Projects, Engineering, Senior Mine Management, and most recently in Business Improvement and Development.

Prior to joining Dumas, Mr. Echavarria was a member of Agnico Eagle’s Macassa Mine Senior Management Team where he advised, developed, and managed cross functional improvement initiatives across the business unit and supported the post M&A integration of Macassa Mine into the portfolio of producing assets of one of the world’s largest senior gold producers. In addition to having led site-based technical and operational teams, Mr. Echavarria has also led globally positioned teams through various project management engagements than span from preliminary economic assessments through to successful project delivery.

Mr. Echavarria is a Professional Engineer that holds a bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering from the Universidad de Guanajuato in Guanajuato Mexico, earned his master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom, and is a registered and certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute.
