The Escobal project saw Dumas’ Guatemalan subsidiary complete a 130 metre deep, 6.1 metre diameter mechanized raise with a 100 mm thick shotcrete lining in extremely challenging ground.

This raise was excavated safely and efficiently, with no LTI’s.
